Who uses it

Where Go fits.

Mobile and market sellers, Android users, and as a backup device. It also supports Tap to Pay on iPhone, and the reader is $199 one-time.

What you get

Go in six bullets.

Pocket-sized

Fits in a pocket or apron. Slap it on a phone mount; the reader connects wirelessly when you need it.

Works with what you have

Use your existing iOS or Android phone. The Clover Go app downloads at no cost; the reader handles the card-reading hardware.

Chip and contactless

EMV chip, contactless tap, and mobile wallet — no magstripe swipe.

Receipts by text or email

No paper roll. Customers get receipts the way most of them already want.

Best for low-volume mobile

Service providers, popups, market stalls, mobile detailing — Go is the cheapest way to start accepting cards on the move.

Move up to Flex when ready

If your volume outgrows Go, we move you to a Flex without changing your processing rate or merchant ID.

Common questions

About Go.

? Does it work without an internet connection?
It needs a connection (cellular or Wi-Fi) on the paired phone to process transactions. Most merchants are already on cellular when they’re mobile, so this is rarely an issue.
? Can I use Go and Station on the same account?
Yes — they share one merchant account, one processing rate, and one reporting dashboard. We provision both under the same Arca relationship.
? When should I upgrade from Go to Flex?
If you’re printing a lot of receipts, scanning barcodes, or processing more than ~100 transactions a day, Flex tends to pay back the difference quickly through fewer dropped sales and faster checkout.
